On our first meeting of the new year we welcomed Peter Evans of South Devon Bonsai and The Bonsai Studio for a talk on accent plantings and kusamono. He took us through various species that lend themselves to such plantings and techniques on their cultivation. As the photos show he brought along many examples of these for us to see. Many thanks to Peter for his efforts preparing everything for us to see. It has provided much inspiration for the group to try out their own plantings, hopefully these will be on display in June at our show!
