In September the Heathrow Bonsai show in Bracknell was attended by a few of our club members. Brian MacKichan brought a number of his and Neil’s trees for the Exeter Bonsai Society display at the show. Many bonsai societies had displays including Shiten, Berkshire and Eastleigh Bonsai Societies. The show was well attended and a large number of traders were also there including Bonsai4me and Greenwood Bonsai Studio. Exeter Bonsai Society came 3rd in the top three club displays as voted for by the exhibitors and joint 2nd place with Swindon Bonsai Society as voted for by the visitors. A fantastic result for the club and a great day out that was thoroughly enjoyed by all those that attended. Thanks to all those involved in organising the event.
