Sunday 9th of June saw the return of Bonsai South West to Exmouth Pavilions. As ever some of the best bonsai in the region were brought together by the various clubs and societies and a few independent exhibitors. The standard of trees was good this year whilst still being inclusive to club members so that all who wished to display their trees got the opportunity. On this subject, it has been discussed that there is scope for expansion of the display space at the venue so hopefully next year we will be showing more trees from more exhibitors. The displays were accompanied by a selection traders selling a wide range of material from starter trees and raw material all the way up to top end specimen trees, tools and other sundries and a wide range of ceramics. Many of our visitors popped back to their cars with their new purchases. There are links to these traders, the exhibiting clubs and more here. We would be unable to put on these shows without the help and participation of many people so huge thanks the the vendors, exhibitors and anyone involved. A special mention for Mark And MingChen Moreland, they are regular supporters of our show despite the distance it is to travel, this year they brought with them MIng’s camera, some great trees and the the stand for the UK Bonsai association. Thanks guys! Check out https://www.ukbonsaiassoc.org for more photos of the show and join for free! Hope to see you all for next years show…
