Our September meeting saw Neil & John taking us through the history of some of their trees. Brian was due to join them but injury (he has since recovered) forced his absence! John gave each tree a few minutes to tell us of its origins and the decisions made regarding its styling over the years and took suggestions for nest steps. Neil took it a step further with presentation for each of his trees. This included pictures of each tree at various stages of its progression (these are included here) to its current form. Its was interesting to see what techniques and time scales are involved in developing material into “finished” trees. As always, many thanks to Neil, John and indeed Brian for their efforts.
