Long overdue but here nevertheless we wanted to update our followers with plans for the society as we see the Covid -19 scenario continue globally. With the rule of six still being in force and a portion of our members ticking the ‘at risk’ box we have not yet managed to meet in person as a club. This will be the case for the foreseeable future, potentially looking to review the situation next spring. However we have, instead of these meetings, decided to publish something online each month on the date of the scheduled meeting. These will take various forms and this months initial offering will be an article by Brian MacKichan on a Procumbens Juniper he has trained for some years now. This will be published on 25th of October.
Next month’s offering will be in place of our Autumn show so we thought we could simply move the show online and feature the trees here on our website and over on Facebook. Now, for this we are looking submissions and will accept these from any of our members or followers so please feel free to message or email us at exeterbonsaisociety@gmail.com with a photo and brief descriptions of your trees if you would like us to show it. These can be photos taken at any time but as it is our Autumn show it would be great to see some colour! The show will be published on the 22nd of November so get in touch!
